Cette erreur a été rencontrée par plusieurs utilisateurs java 6.

Si vous cliquez sur les informations détaillées, vous obtenez un message ressemblant :

Exception
CouldNotLoadArgumentException[ Impossible de charger le fichier/l'URL spécifié : C:\Documents and Settings\****\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\***\*******

C'est un bug de java 6 qu'on peut trouver sur leur site.

En attendant qu'il soit réglé par Sun, vous pouvez essayer de désinstaller CGoban3, puis le réinstaller en cliquant sur le lien "cgoban3 avec java web start" de la page de téléchargement de KGS. Cela devrait régler le problème.

Il semble que cela provienne de programmes antivirus/spyware ou de pare-feu.

Par exemple avec le pare-feu "Comodo":

Lancer CGoban en ajoutant l'argument  -Xnosplash à votre raccourci vous permettra de contourner le problème.

Par exemple avec l'antivirus "Panda Antivirus".

Désactivez l'antivirus et cela devrait fonctionner.

Autre méthode :
indiquez le répertoire JAVA_HOME comme exception dans "Panda Process Protection Service" et l'antivirus acceptera de faire fonctionner java web start.

There seem to be some trouble with the java 1.5.0_19 Apple version. We recommend you to uninstall CGoban then to reinstall it again. Here is the method:
  • Go to /Applications/Utilities/Java Preferences
  • Choose the 'Network' tab
  • Then 'View Cache Files' button (this will list the java web start applications)
  • Click on CGoban
  • Click on the cross to erase it

Then reinstall by clicking the "cgoban3 with java web start" link on the KGS download page. This should fix the issue.

If it doesn't not install the client but run textedit. Then download the "cgoban3 with java web start" jnlp page on your computer. Then right click on it and select "get informations" then "open with" and choose "java web start".

If "java web start" is not suggested, select "Other" then travel through your disk from System, Library, CoreServices and select "Java Web Start". The file association should then work in the right way.
